Davis came to MFAVN with a strong visual style and a desire to hone his story craft. His thesis graphic novel ‘One Eight Hundred Ghosts’ was borne from a desire to give readers a peek at the art scene of 80s Manhattan. Combined with a well-developed sci-fi angle, Davis’ vision permeates every page. The book was called “more or less a perfect comic” by The Comics Journal. ‘One Eight Hundred Ghosts’ is published by Fantagraphics Books. Davis is currently working on ‘iObject’, his second book for @fantagraphics and teaches at Pratt, Rutgers University and P.I. Art Center.
