Digital Short Story 2022 | Amos Stillwell’s ‘Pandora’s Bag’

The Digital Short Story ’22 exhibit includes 9 entertaining stories by the Class of ’23. First in our spotlight is Amos Stillwell’s ‘Pandora’s Bag’.

The story: Ralph is an average man with an unhealthy addiction to potato chips. After a concerning check in with his doctor, Ralph decides to cut potato chips out of his life. What he doesn’t realize is that some snacks will not get thrown out without a fight. A hellish odyssey awaits for Ralph, a man who will realize that some healthy habits don’t come without a cost.

The storyteller: Amos Stillwell (’23) is a cartoonist and storyboard artist originally hailing from Boston, MA. He loves drawing funny faces, reading comics, and drinking medically inadvisable amounts of coffee. When he isn’t shamelessly drawing superhero fan art, Amos loves to caricature the ridiculousness of life in comic strips. With each strip, Amos intends to not escape from reality, but to understand it more and gain a sense of humor about it. He studied Film at Emerson College and graduated with B.A. in 2017. Since then he’s been living in Los Angeles, working as a freelance artist and teaching art to students on the autism spectrum.
