BY Jenny Goldstick
Please join us for a special gallery presentation by Jenny Goldstick, the creator of THIS IS MY MEMORY OF FIRST HEARTBREAK, WHICH I CAN’T QUITE PIECE BACK TOGETHER. The event takes place at 6pm on July 21st at the SVA GRAMERCY GALLERY, 209 E 23 Street, NYC.
“This image is representative of a flipbook associated with the interactive project, This is My Memory of First Heartbreak, Which I Can’t Quite Piece Back Together. The piece is a graphic memoir that articulates a memory the way that a memory should be told: dynamically, non-linearly, and acknowledging the expansive nature of a single, highly emotional moment from the past.”
Jenny Goldstick is a designer, illustrator, writer, and researcher. Coming from a background in information graphics, her professional work includes articulating complex scientific processes and visualizing market data for technical products. As an artist, she enjoys manipulating the frameworks of these projects for more abstract, narrative means. Jenny is a Chicago native currently living and working in Brooklyn.
Join Jenny and MFAVN on July 21st at 6pm for a special presentation at SVA GRAMERCY GALLERY 209 E 23 Street, NYC.
