three excellent flicks for weekend viewing
What beats a good movie? Three good short films, that’s what. We’re always keeping an eye out for the best in shorts, either animated or live action. If you have any tips or suggestions, leave them in the comments, please!
The three films for this week all come from Vimeo and they’re all exceptional. It’s truly astonishing to see what today’s artists are able to create.
First up, The Candidate, wherein “an underhanded company man is offered assistance by a secret organization that immerses him in forces beyond his control.”

Next up is an interesting one. It brings up that feeling many of us have had — where we wonder how the world would react if we just jumped up and flew over everyone’s heads!

Last up, Fear of Flying, is an entertaining short where “a bird with a FEAR OF FLYING tries to avoid heading South for the winter.” The director points out that it’s “a live-action-animated short film- NO STOP-MOTION!”
