The Holloways of Hollow Earth is a graphic novel series pitch about a 19th-century family who finds themselves trapped in a surreal subterranean fantasy world at the center of the Earth.

The Adventure

In 1899, Louis Holloway, a notorious crackpot & inveterate dreamer, seeks fame & fortune through death-defying adventure – the perfect family holiday! When the Holloways are waylaid en route to prove the center of the Earth is hollow, they find themselves ensnared by the maniacal Troggle Queen. Accused of leading an invasion by the surface world, the Holloways are sentenced to beat eaten alive by the grub hordes. Now they must work together and overcome their fears, egos & differences to escape the clutches of the mad queen & her hideous hordes.

The Characters

Over the course of their adventure, each of the Holloways learns a valuable lesson, propelling their individual growth. Patriarch Louis discovers that he has put his family in more danger than he’d bargained for; matriarch Helena Holloway learns to embrace her kids’ individuality; daughter Amaryllis sees the effect her bullying has on her younger brother; and youngest Holloway Quentin finds his inner hero, ultimately saving the day for his family.
