Creatures of Story: 2024 Digital Exhibition

MFA Visual Narrative’s Class of 2024 mounted their thesis exhibition this summer!

Creatures of Story, which was on view at SVA Gramercy Gallery from July 10th to 20th, immersed visitors in fourteen unique visual narratives, transporting its audience to familiar, fantastic, and alien worlds through life-sized, interactive installations.

We’re now pleased to present the digital exhibition of Creatures of Story.

These stories and their characters explore themes of love and self-acceptance, the power of taboos, and the possibility of redemption and peace, among others. Be it through the use of comedy, satire, documentary, or fantasy, all of these works reflect each artist’s personal journey and their interpretation of the human experience.
