Nadia DeLane (’15) speaks at Parsons about visual narrative and inspiration!

On October 3, 2019 during The New School’s weeklong Centennial celebration, I spoke with Parsons design students about visual storytelling and strategies for generating inspiration. As a creative consultant, I’m inspired by helping creatives fulfill on their visions. Having worked in academia, fine art, film and fashion, it’s become clear that what’s missing most in our communities is a commitment to self care. From a place of fullness a designer can work within the realm of what’s possible and professionalize their play. It was an honor to speak in the old Tishman auditorium where so many global leaders stood before me and listen to the next generation of makers share about challenges and triumphs specific to the work that we do.
