Leonard Marcus is known for being busy, but 2019 is shaping up to be a lot, even for him!
He has 3 new books coming out between February and May:
THE ABC OF IT: WHY CHILDREN’S BOOKS MATTER (U. of Minnesota Press, Feb 15)

100 YEARS OF CHILDREN’S BOOK WEEK POSTERS (Knopf, March 5)

HELEN OXENBURY: A LIFE IN ILLUSTRATION (Candlewick Press, April 9)

And TWO exhibitions are running that he curated:

“OUT OF THE BOX: The Graphic Novel Comes of Age” (Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, Amherst, MA, Feb 10-May 26)

“THE ABC OF IT: Why Children’s Books Matter” (Unversity of Minnesota Andersen Library, Feb 11-May 31).
