Ru Xu’s stories focus on fantastical settings filled with engaging characters. The NewsPrints graphic novel series was nominated for an Edgar, a Kids’ Comic Award, and an Ignatz, and it’s available at all places that sell books. Currently, Ru is working on Status Royale, a sci-fi gaming series, as well as the Reuben-nominated webcomic, Saint For Rent.
Ru is mentor to Nada Mohammed (’20) and Roger Zheng (’25).
