Pilar Newton-Katz

Animator/educator Pilar Newton-Katz has illustrated and animated for Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Cartoon Network, MTV, Ted Ed and Sirius Thinking among many others. Pilar has also illustrated over 20 children’s books. Her company PilarToons LLC, is based in Brooklyn, New York. With a focus on 2D animation, PilarToons, LLC has a growing client base. Pilar teaches animation at the acclaimed City College of New York.

Pilar’s mentor was Sara Varon.
