Olivia Gehrke is an illustrator, storyteller, and self-proclaimed weirdo. She grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she spent her summers reading and pretending to be a witch. After moving to the deep south for school, she graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2019 with a BFA in illustration.
Currently, Olivia is a freelance illustrator based in Atlanta, Georgia. She lives with her husband and their three cat children. She’s not afraid to take on new projects, which has led her to designing stop-motion puppets, painting giant vegetables, and illustrating a children’s book about a shark attack. Her work is cute and colorful and features a cast of fun characters. Olivia works in both digital and traditional media but all of her ideas begin in her beloved sketchbook. She designs all sorts of neat merchandise that can be found in shops around the Atlanta area.
Her current goal is world domination, but if that doesn’t work out she’s happy to settle for writing and illustrating graphic novels and children’s books. You can view and purchase her work at runredfox.com
