Kat Llewellyn
A Manhattan based artist for over 25 years, Kat Llewellyn provided design, visual effects and animation for countless commercials, to institutions, such as the American Museum of Natural History and the United Nations, to networks, including HBO and NBC, and many children’s productions for Sesame Street, Hooked on Phonics, Scholastic, and TedEd.
Kat founded Dumfun Productions in 2011 to offer fx, post production and animation services. Through Dumfun she published The Punky Dunk Project, a children’s interactive app featuring Mathew Modine and Kate Del Costillo.
In 2012, she joined the faculty at the School of Visual Arts and continues to teach a core, required class to animation undergrads. She also offers courses in Stop Motion, Motion Graphics and Digital Storytelling to adult professionals through Continuing Education.
