Kali Fontecchio

Kali Fontecchio is an Emmy award winning artist with a focus on character design, visual development, art direction, and show creation. Clientele include: Disney, Dreamworks, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Netflix, NBC universal, Sony Imageworks, Warner Bros. Animation etc. Her work can be seen on SpongeBob Squarepants, Jellystone, Lego Movie 2, Mickey Mouse Shorts, Patrick Star Show, Yo! Gabba Gabba, Rick & Morty, Looney Tunes Shorts and many more. She’s developed pilots for Nickelodeon, Disney and recently completed her short for Cartoon Cartoon’s Maude Macher & Dom Duck.

Known for her cartoony aesthetic as well as strong character acting and use of color, she occasionally animates for various projects like Nick News, Community, music videos etc. She has given lectures at Otis, Cal Arts, Uppsala University and has mentored young artists including participating in Rise Up Animation collective. She occasionally teaches younger children as well.

Her other great passion aside from animation is making music as a singer-songwriter, having produced four albums as Kali Kazoo for Sweatband Records.
