Drew Bullock

Cartoonist and illustrator

Drew Bullock is a cartoonist and illustrator who enjoys telling nonfiction stories through comics. Originally from Seattle, Washington, they received a BFA in Comics from the School of Visual Arts in 2024.

Drew finds inspiration in all kinds of media – their influences range from Jaime Hernandez to Joan Didion to the Coen brothers. Drew is passionate about the emotional function of story above all, and believes that stories of any form or genre can be powerful sources of connection, comfort, and self-discovery.

Drew’s work often explores themes of hope, grief, courage, and resilience in the face of adversity. They hope the stories they tell can resonate with others and inspire them to share their own stories.
When not drawing, Drew loves to read, listen to music, take long walks, and explore New York City’s many thrift stores.
