Swift: The basics of Apple’s programming language

A lot of our students and faculty are not interested in sticking with one medium to tell stories. Comics, film, animation, apps, games — our tastes run the gamut.

With that in mind, we always have our eyes on helpful resources that can help to expand our understanding of different media.

Here’s a short list of sites that will help you get your head around Swift, the de facto programming language for iOS and OS X apps. No, you don’t need to know how to do everything, but as we continue to evolve as a collaborative culture, well, it doesn’t hurt to know the basics!
