Omoko Shintani draws cute pictures on Starbucks coffee cups, and it works!
Omoko Shintani is onto something that is very much her own thing. How did she start doing these charming pieces? If I were a betting man, I’d say she was bored, sipping coffee in a Starbucks one dreary day. The people-watching hit a lull, and she was struck by caffeinated lightning.
I think this is a great example of a talented illustrator finding a clever niche that allows her joy to come through in her work.
