Hello Storytellers!

In the MFA Visual Narrative program, creative writing and image-making are considered a single language—visual storytelling. Only when we have mastered this language, discovering our own internal process, are we able to communicate our unique vision of the human experience.

Comprised of three eight-week summer sessions in NYC and two academic years online, our low-residency MFA program places equal emphasis on creative writing and figurative visual expression. The program is designed for both working professionals and recent graduates from all creative disciplines who are dedicated to the art and craft of visual storytelling as both artist and author. Join Nathan Fox, Chair of MFA Visual Narrative and learn about the MFAVN curriculum and our philosophy and approach to visual storytelling, and meet faculty, alumni and current students.

We’ve planned a presentation, Q&A session and an optional demonstration in our self-publishing arm, the RisoLAB. This event is open to the general public free of charge. Seating is given on a first-come, first-served basis.

11/8/2019, 6:00PM – 8:00PM
room 101C at 141 West 21st Street, New York, NY
