In the MFA Visual Narrative program, creative writing and image-making are considered a single language—visual storytelling. Only when we have mastered this language, discovering our own internal process, are we able to communicate our unique vision of the human experience. Comprised of three eight-week summer sessions in NYC and two academic years online, our low-residency MFA program places equal emphasis on creative writing and figurative visual expression. The program is designed for both working professionals and recent graduates from all creative disciplines who are dedicated to the art and craft of visual storytelling as both artist and author.
Applications are open now for summer 2020 entry. We look forward to seeing your work!
