Yitong Wang

Photographer, Story Artist & Filmmaker

I’m a photographer, story artist, and filmmaker based in Beijing and Los Angeles. Born and raised in Shenyang, China, I inherited the Northeastern enthusiasm toward the outside world. Graduated with a BA degree from UCLA, I figured out that my way of creating art is through a slew of media forms. Photos, movies, novels, and sketches (I’m a beginner at drawing) – I work with all of them to create my visions of the future and the unknown.

I have a scientific mind and an imaginative soul. Curiosity is written in my DNA! Through my past experiences with traveling and chatting with different people, I have built a habit of investing in my passions as deep as possible. I’m enamored with topics with regards to the world’s mysteries, mindful practice, sci-fi, and human relationships. Plus, different cultural backgrounds empower me to embrace all kinds of voices and discover mine. My motto is Carl Sagan’s “somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.”
