Director, animator and artist
Yulia Ruditskaya is a Brooklyn based director, animator, and artist, with over 18 years of experience in animation and motion design. Yulia has been working on a wide array of projects, including animated films, documentaries, tv-series, music videos, and commercial advertising. Originally from Minsk, Belarus, Yulia moved to New York, continuing her journey as a visual storyteller.
Yulia has directed several award-winning animated short films. Her latest film “And The Moon Stands Still” screened at over 400 film festivals around the world and won over a dozen awards. As a multidisciplinary artist, Yulia fulfills her creative passion working with various styles and genres, ranging from tv shows for kids to visualizing complex subject matter, using digital, mixed-media, and hand-crafted techniques. While on a constant quest to master the craft, Yulia loves sharing her knowledge with others. She taught digital animation courses for several years at Animated Film School SHAR in Moscow, as well as various international animation workshops.
She loves traveling and dogs.
