From his NYC based design company; 40N47 Design, Inc. Argentinian born Diego Vainesman provides his clients with a wide range of high-end design solutions, from digital design to large scale environmental graphics.
Working as a Design Director, his clients range from global corporations such as Canon, American Express, IBM, Pfizer, to nonprofit organizations such as the Bronx High School of Science and Congregation B’nai Jeshurun. Other clients include: Art Deco Society of New York, Behrman House, Boehringer Ingelheim, Formica, Guggenheim Partners, Hotel Paracas, Hotel Palacio del Inka, Hotel Tambo del Inka, New York State Democratic Committee, Print Magazine, Saturn, Subaru, Zenith, Optimedia.
He was the first Latin American President and Chairman of the Board of the Type Directors Club (TDC) and is the South American Liaison. During his 12 year tenure as an officer of the TDC, Diego developed the Master Classes for global audiences.
He was the New York correspondent of tipoGráfica the leading design and typography magazine in Latin America (1987-2007) and was featured as one of the writers in the book Tipografía Latinoamericana (2014).
Diego taught at Parsons School of Design and Pratt Institute in New York City.
He judges competitions, gives talks and workshops on logos and branding throughout Europe and Latin America.
