Walter Tyler
Picture Book Author, Photojournalist & Filmmaker
Walter has at various points been a photojournalist, a filmmaker, a video producer, and most recently a picture book author. His artistic talent was discovered at a young age when his mother found him hunched over a note pad laboriously reproducing Tony the Tiger off a cereal box. His primary interests are telling stories and making pictures, and he is happiest when the two align.
Walter’s mentor is David Soman.
