Ryan Weber

Interdisciplinary Artist & Writer

Ryan Weber is an interdisciplinary artist and writer; working in illustration, drawing, and books arts. His current work addresses themes of anxiety, the suspension of disbelief, and the romanticization of the world around him. Focusing on what narrative vehicle best suits the story at hand and questioning the constructs of visual narrative, Ryan’s work is compelled by an unwavering passion for storytelling. His work suggests that stories can be found in even the smallest pieces of our lives; including forgotten objects, personal angst, or even fabricated romances.

Currently residing in New Jersey, where he was born and raised, Ryan works both in New York and his home state in freelance production. Ryan received his Bachelors of Arts in Art Education from The College of New Jersey in 2009, and is a New Jersey State Certified Art Educator (K-12).
